Ishant Sharma, India’s pace spearhead, will miss the first Test against New Zealand in Kanpur, starting on Thursday (September 22) as he is recovering from Chikungunya, a viral disease transmitted to humans by mosquitoes.

This is a fatal blow for Ishant as he would not participate in the 500th test match played by Indian cricket team. Instead of sympathizing with the event, Gautam gambhir has accused Ishant of being too soft and not being able to fight with the mosquitoes. According to Gambhir every cricketer should be strong enough and mosquitoes only attack the weak cricketers.

Gambhir, off late has been criticizing Dhoni, selectors, media and almost everyone who he thinks have impacted his career in a wrong way. He thinks that modern cricketers are too weak and are taking rest with minor of health problems. Gambhir promised that if he is selected in the team he will teach every one the fitness mantra to be strong at all times.

Meanwhile Ishant has not taken the comments in a good way and has accused of Gambhir of being a sour loser who is not a friend anymore.
